A New life for Empty Feed Bags
Welcome to our journey of creativity and sustainability! It all began in 2018 when we started milking goats and realized how many feed bags we were accumulating. Inspired by a night of watching recycling videos, I dusted off my sewing machine and crafted my first bag, which caught the attention of friends and family. Before I knew it, I was collecting feed bags from everyone and turning them into unique reusable bags, leading to craft fairs and our expansion into social media in 2020.

What is a feed bag?
Feed bags are made out of material called woven polypropylene that is laminated with a biaxially oriented polypropylene film.

Every year in the United states 284 Million tons of animal feed is produced. Just one company alone produces 3.5 Million feed bags! Since they do not decompose that means Pollution, Enviromental impact in not only creates a negative impact for our Landfills, but waterways as well! Most feed bags have a devastating end! Winding up in Landfills, and Oceans.
Every year we collect 3-5 thousand empty feed bags not only in our community but across the United States! Many of our donations have come from our Local farming community, friends, family and Social Medial!
